Im sure there has been tears, tantrums and laughter along the way right? But here you are, that tiny precious newborn you gazed at with pure wonder and amazment has turned into a wonderful one year old just bursting with character!

What better way to celebrate than a cake smash?
We start the session with a pre smash mini portrait session, showing off that cheeky smile they've perfected so well.
It's then time to change into a cake smash outfit of your choice and let the madness commence.
Watch as your little one enjoys the new tastes, textures and all round fun that comes with a cake smash at Tilly Jayne Photography.
At the end of the session theres only one thing left to do; clean up!
What better way to do that than by splashing around in a tin tub with lots of bubbles?
The three parts to the session ensures that this important milestone in your little ones life is captured perfectly & you will be left with a wonderful and varied final gallery of images.

What's included?
​
A personalised bespoke set up to your chosen theme, this can be as simple or as elaborate as you like. As you can see from the examples above you can choose a simple colour set up or your little ones favourite things. I love doing new set ups so don't be shy!
I can provide a simple matching outfit but you are more than welcome to bring your own if you've got something specific in mind!

A pre-smash mini portrait session on your set up - before the chaos begins we make sure to capture some images of your beautiful baby to celebrate this important milestone!

The cake smash - the fun part! We put the cake down and sit back as we watch your little one explore the taste, textures and carnage that comes with a cake smash. Will your baby be a delicate finger by finger eater or a face plant smasher?!
​
Tub time - When the fun of the smash is over and your baby is sick of the cake we calm things down a little and start operation clean up! We fill the tin tub with warm water and bubbles and we let them clean up and splash and even blow bubbles so baby can finish the session relatively icing free!

Cake smash sessions include 10 digital images with 10 matching 7x5 prints (prints must be from your chosen images)

What do you need to bring?
​
Cake - due to currently allergy/health and safety guidelines I am not currently able to provide the cake for the session.
​
Bubble bath - bring your little ones usual bubble bath for the splash part of the session.
​
Towel
​
Anything special you'd like including in the shoot.
